Our rates are priced per room and are based on 2 people sharing. This includes a cooked Full Devon breakfast and a continental selection breakfast. All prices are inclusive of VAT at 20%.

Single rooms are available. Please contact us by telephone to arrange the best single room for you or book through the web selecting the single person occupancy option.

Booking Terms

To make a direct booking at The Seawood Hotel, you can telephone us on 01598 75 22 72 or book via our online reservation system. If you need any assistance or have a query with your booking, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The following booking terms apply to all reservations made direct with the hotel. Please be aware that bookings made through third-party booking providers or online travel agents have different terms which may be less favourable.

Cancellation

Direct bookings

If you booked direct with the Seawood Hotel, you can cancel your booking anytime up to 30 days prior to the date of arrival. Bookings cancelled within this time are charged for the entire stay.

You must notify the hotel by telephone on 01598 75 22 72 if you wish to cancel your reservation. Cancellations via email are not accepted.

Third-party bookings

Bookings made with third-party booking providers or online travel agents can only be cancelled through that third-party booking provider and is subject to their terms and conditions.

We strongly recommend guests take out adequate holiday insurance to cover against loss in the event of cancellation.

Deposits & Confirmation

No deposit will be taken for direct bookings however all reservations are secured by providing valid credit or debit card details at the time of booking.

We reserve the right to require a deposit, if specified at the time of booking. All deposits are non-refundable.

All bookings are confirmed via email. Should you require confirmation in writing then will make a charge of £1.00 to cover postage.

Payments

All guests' accounts and any charges owed are due to be settled on departure.

Children

All children of any age are welcome at the Seawood Hotel. However, rooms on the second floor are not suitable. Please call the hotel to check before booking.

Children under 5 stay free if bringing own travel cot; for children aged 5 to 15 extra bed is charged at £39 per night including breakfast. No children under 8 can stay in Lee Bay, Ruddy Ball, Lynmouth Bay or Watersmeet Suite. All Children permitted in Ragged Jack & Countisbury Suite.

Please notify us if you require extra beds (maximum of one per room).

Pets

Dogs are accepted in all rooms, free of charge. Dog beds and treat bowls are also provided.

No dogs are to be left unattended in the hotel. Dogs are not permitted on any furniture or beds. A charge of £100.00 will be applied to cover damage and replace bedding as it cannot be used by future guests.

Smoking

The Seawood Hotel is a strictly non-smoking establishment. It is against the law to smoke within the hotel bedrooms, hallways and public areas, however guests may smoke or vape on the terrace located outside of the hotel building. Any smoking in the hotel rooms will incur a penalty of £100.00 to cover cleaning costs.

Due to the sensitivity of the hotel's fire alarms, vaping is not permitted within the hotel.

Conditions of Stay

All guests are advised on check-in to take notice of the hotel fire precautions and to familiarise themselves with the fire exit route.

We reserve the right to terminate your booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation where you engage in unacceptable behaviour that causes a disturbance or nuisance to our other guests.
